Europe 2012: There's no other place like Venice

Day 8:

At about 830 last night, we arrived at San Lucia Station, Venice..

Bloody cold and bloody hungry.. Huhu..

Our hotel is at San Zaccaria vaporatto stop..

Venice Island takde land transport..

Everything pon pakai boat..

Kalau nak amik private taxi mahal nak mampos boleh londeh spender.. Huhuhu..

So kitaorg pon memandai2 kan diri amik vaporatti (equivalent to public buses tapi dia boat)..

Our hotel is at lorong Calle De Rasse..Hotel Antigo Trovatore..

Which is right in front of San Zaccaria stop..

Fuh.. Seb baik..

Sebab dgn malam dengan tempat tak familiar and dgn luggage bags yg berat..

So not my favorite scene..

Lepas dah check in semua..

We had one of our best dinner in Italy..

The next morning, we're ready to explore Venice..

The thing is, we almost cancel our trip to Venice despite everything being paid for..

Sebab agak kecoh kat tv/ internet cerita pasal Aqua Alta (banjir) teruk..

We called our hotel in Venice and they confirm tak banjir pon..

So if you're planning a trip out to Venice, don't just listen to news/ people fwd emails cause kadang2 tu tak betul pon.. And you're worried for nothing (like our case)..

As we spend a beautiful day exploring Venice's beauty..

 Taking our time exploring and getting loss in the alleys..

 It was such a beautiful day.. The sun was shining so brightly.. Tapi cuaca still sejuk la kan..

 We didn't ride on the gondola.. Cause I spent that allocation on our Rome Segway tour.. Hehehe.. Which i did not regret at all.. Gondola is bloody expensive.. above the rate that we feel we want to pay.. So we skip them...

 Piazza San Marco.. Our hotel is just nearby this big landmark..

 Banyak gile burung merpati kat sini.. Since aku ade biskut jagung extra.. Aku pon bukak la nak kasik burung2 nih makan.. Memula tuh eksaited la kan.. Sekali banyak gile burung terbang kat muka aku plus 4-5 ekor dah landing kat tangan.. Harus iols panic big time.. Hahaahaha.. Leman tolong tengok jek.. Ciss..

(Bila nak balik baru terbaca kat signboard yg diorang tak kasik feed the pigeons.. Oppss.. Sebab pigeons nih mengotorkan kawasan and boleh membawa virus.. huhu)

 Cantik kan.. Memang kitaorg takde itenery pagi nih.. Ikut jek mana kaki nak melangkah.. Masuk jek lorong2 yg banyak tuh..

 Sekali terjumpa Furla.. Harus akak terjebak.. hahhaha..

 We bought a small tripod mase kat Vatican City sebab the one that we have dah tertinggal dalam laci kat umah.. Tripod kecik nih sangat berguna during our honeymoon.. Senang nak tangkap gambar couple tanpa perlu mintak tolong orang.. :)

 And this is the best margarita pizza kat Italy nih.. Yummm...

Basically we just had so much fun walking around holding hands..

Bila penat kitaorg singgah minum cafe latte sambil tengok orang lalu lalang..

Bila boring kitaorg masuk kedai sambung shopping.. hehehe..

Tengahari nanti we've booked a tour for Murano, Burano and Torcello..

PS: Seeing our honeymoon pictures, I kinda miss Europe.. Tapi macam dah tak larat dah nak menaip.. Nih pon paksa2 jek sebab nanti lama2 lagik dah tak ingat kan..
