Europe 2012: Murano, Burano and Torcello

In my rush to blog about Paris, I missed out the second half of our day in Venice.
So here goes..

In the afternoon, after lunch, we join the MURANO, BURANO and TORCELLO tour..
Tour nih naik boat (iols kan always a sucker for boat ride kan. Hehe)

 This is us making our way to the meeting point..

 This is a normal scenery in Venice. With boats and what not.. 

 Today we will board the Alilaguna boat to Murano, Burano and Torcello.. Satu kepala EUR20.. Pon kitaorg dah pre-booked dgn viator.com.. 

 Inside the boat..

 Bye bye Venice Island.. Murano, Burano and Torcello ni bukan kat Venice Island. Dia kat island2 kecik sekitar tuh..

5 minit lepas tangkap2 gambar pemandangan, sambil ditiup angin laut yg sejuk beku, sambil dibuai ombak bot.. Kitaorg pon tertido! Hahahha..

So much for a boat cruise eh..

Ngantokkk siyot.. Dah la baru lepas lunch kan.. Memang sedap gila tido walaupon duduk je..

 Tau tau jek dah sampai sini.. First stop is Murano.. Punye la mengantok mase nih rase macam nak tinggal jek dalam bot tak nak kuar.. sebab nak sambung tido.. Hahahah.. Mengenangkan EUR20 satu kepala kitaorg gagahkan la jugak diri..

 Murano nih tempat tengok demonstration Murano Glass Making.. Kuda kat atas nih org tuh tarik2 tetengok dah jadik kuda.. Kalau iols agaknye jadik taik kuda jek la kot :P

 Diorang nih family business.. Skill passed from one generation to the next..

 Mr and Mann at Murano.. Awww..  Biasalah tgh honeymoon harus la berpelok sokmo.. hehe..

 Next we went to Torcello..

kat sini ade mcm church ke apetah..

Kitaorg mmg tak minat nak masuk church2 nih.. so kat sini kitaorg iols busy shopping kat gerai2 kecik tepi tuh jek.. Hehehe..

 Pekan  ni kecik jek ade 9 org jek kot yg tinggal kat sini..

 Tapi pekan nih banyakkkkk kucenggggg.. Arrggghhhh heaven! This one is super friendly.. Teringat si Hiro dan rakan2 kat umah.. sob sob..

 Torcello nih tempat org abandoned cats kot.. Tapi ko tgk la tuh.. Abandoned2 pon gemok kalah TumTum okay.. Rase nak kidnap jek bawak balik sekor kucing Italy nih.. Kat sini diorang akan mintak derma la utk kucing2 terbiar nih.. So iols pon takde la sedih sgt at the thot that they are abandoned cats.. Huhu.. And diorang siap buat kan rumah2 lagik utk kucing2 nih.. and make sure bagi cukup makan..

 So ni la activity utama kitaorg kat sini.. Gi tengok kucing2.. Hehehe.. 

 By pukul 5 dah nak gelap dah hari.. And we still have another stop to make..

 This is Burano.. Dia mcm perkampungan nelayan.. Rumah2 kat sini semua colorful.. So cantik sangat..

 Kat sini jugak popular lace.. So tgk la demonstration buat lace.. Tapi mahal gila ok lace.. Ini opah aku pon tau buat nih :P

 Sampai bulan dah kuar baru la nak balik ke Venice Island.. Actually awal lagik mase nih.. Baru dlm kol 6 petang kot.. I love the skyline..

 Malam tu dinner kat favourite restaurant lagik..

 Ni la interior favorite restaurant kitaorg.. Very cosy kan..

 malam tu kita dinner pizza and hot lattes jek.. Itu pon mcm kena hina ngan waiter tuh bila kitaorg order satu jek pizza.. Hahahahha..

Husband: Can we have 1 seafood pizza. And 2 hot caffe latte

Waiter: Only 1 pizza? (sambil buat muka confuse)

Husband: Yes.. only one.. Thank you :)

Bila waiter tuh hantar pizza dia dah siap2 suh chef potong 2 and letak dlm 2 pinngan..

Hahahahahahha..

Perli sangat kau kan.. Ciss..

Dah la kitaorg tak minum arak kan.. pehtu pizza plak makan kongsi2.. hhahaha..

Mesti dia ingat cheapskate gile..

It's not money.. We have money okey *smug*

Siap lepas tuh tinggalkan tips lagik.. hahahaha.. (tanak kalah tu)..

Sebab seharian nih asek la snacking itu ini.. so dinner nih pon just nak cukupkan syarat jek,. Plus the pizza besar gile memang takkan abes la kalau kitaorg order sorang satu.. Huhu.. So kena hina pon kena hina la.. Janji perut kenyang and kitaorg tak membazir kan..

Next morning we went for breakfast before flying back home in the afternoon..

 Sedappppp gila kot breakfast... Yummm...

 Nak balik  Paris dah.. Bye bye Venice..

 Mase nih tgh tunggu Alilaguna boat utk pegi airport..

(Note: Tiket Alilaguna mahal sket as compared to tiket vaporatto.. Tapi dia direct jek terus gi Airport so very convenient)..

Mase nih kitaorg agak panic.. Sebab bajet macam byk mase lagik.. Sekali boat lambat okay.. Aku dah menggelupur panic actually.. Kalau kena tinggal ngan kapalterbang tak pasal jek.. Sebab kat Paris semua dah ade plan and schedule sendirik yg nak kena follow kan.. Huhu.. So kalau korang nanti biarlah gerak gi airport awal sket pon tak pe..

 Muka cuak plus mabuk.. Platform tempat tunggu boat nih goyang2 okay.. Pening iols.. 

 Last view of Venice..

 This is our stop.. San Zaccaria stop.. Very convenient dekat ngan hotel and also dgn San Mark's Square.. Kat dalam tu la kitaorg tunggu boat..

Akhirnya selamat and sempat jugak sampai San Marco Airport, Venice..

All in all.. I love Venice..
It is touristry, true.. But it's all part of the experience..

One of my fren yg datang sini earlier than me remarked, "Venice boring tak de apepe.. Sehari dah abes takyah tido pon takpe"..

Actually i disagree.. Venice or any holiday destination is boring if you allowed it to be..
Don't spend all your time searching for cheap fridge magnets or rushing from one place to another..
You've got to explore her beauty.. and Venice is that.. beautiful..

So take your time..
Hold hands and stroll around and get lost in the many nook and cranies of Venice..
Enjoy the view and crowd.. Enjoy a cup of latte or cappucino..
Do everything or nothing.. No need to rush (unless you need the toilet :P)
For me, that is being on honeymoon!
And i never had a "boring" honeymoon before tak kisah lah destination kat mana pon :)
