Kota Kinabalu with Love

Hubs was here last weekend.
I imported him straight from Kota Damansara. :)

He arrived on saturday afternoon..
I went to the airport to pick him up (i took a cab to the airport just to make him feel extra welcome okeh. hehe. Padahal aku pon pendatang jugak dekat bumi sabah nih kan)..
Then we rented a proton pesona and double back to town..

After lunch, we just hibernate in my hotel room.. Bliss!
My room comes with a DVD player and 42 inch flat screen tv plus the sea view.
So mmg heaven la. hehe.

Before that in the morning, while waiting for his arrival in the afternoon..
Me and my friend went to the 3 Island..
Sapi.. Mamutik.. Manukan..
Will update this post with photos (kalau aku rajin nanti)..

On Sunday.. after breakfast.. we went to Kundasang..
Had beautiful scenaries of the mount Kinabalu and Kundasang surrounding areras on the way to the Kinabalu Park..
But aside for the breathtaking view of the magnificent mountain.. I'm not that Gung-Ho about Kundasang..
I'll take cameron Highland any time of the day if given the choice.. hehe..

The rest of the day is again spent lazing in my room and then working (at least for me while hubs had a date with his PSP).. Kata nye lagik duty travel kan.. harus la kena rajin bekerja.. hehe..

Monday comes (and go)..
Had a bloody hard time saying goodbye to Leman..
sob sob..
Rase nak kidnap jek dia dok sini sampai aku balik KL nanti.. huhu..

As good as KK has been to me..
I can't wait to be home with Husband and Hiro & the geng..
Baru 20 hari away dah homesick.
I must be getting old  :)

Esok nak pegi site visit..
So eksaited.. or lebih tepat so jakun.. hehehe..
Maklum selama hari nih keja dok kat office jek..
Lain la site engineer keja asek melawat kawasan kan..

Okla.. Mase untuk berehat..

Perth Day 6: Busselton in Love

Let's quickly get this done and over with okay..

Here it is.. our Day 6..

Malam tadik after the stomach ache scare.. Leman dah veto-ed.. Hari nih terus balik ke Perth City.. Takde nak stop2.. Sebab kalau apepe.. hospital senang nak access kan.. huhuh..  tapi seb baik bila bangun pagi.. Sakit perut tuh makin berable.. takde la sampai takleh bangun and berjalan.. so I insisted we continue with our plan..

 Saying goodbye to our suite.. I love this holiday suites.. So cosy.. Setiap tingkat ade 2 unit jek..And satu blok ade 4 unit..

 And it is smack in the middle of MR Town..

 Memula kan tugas sebagai pembantu 'juru-driver" yg berdedikasi.. 

 Singgah Cowaramup nak bergambar kenangan ngan lembu emas.. (aku rase hanye tourist jek buat keja2 mcm nih.. Pekan nih senyap sunyi lagik kedai pon baru nak bukak kot.. hahaha)

 Since on the way lalu MR Choc Factory.. Kitaorang singgah lagik satu round.. Sempat amik chocolate free and beli beberapa kotak lagik.. hehe..I'm holding the milk choc and Leman's holding the dark choc version..

 On the way kitaorg singgah lagik satu vineyard.. This one is call Laurance Cellar..

 My husband pegi la ulu mana pon.. tak lekang ngan BB.. as if la client dia takleh idop kalau seminggu dia cuti.. huhuh.. mengada2 betul kan client skrg.. huhu.. 

 Beautiful scenery kan.. Belakang tu rose garden dia.

 And this is by far the most beautiful toilet that i ever visited.. no kidding! Aku nak kencing pon takut2.. hahahah..

 We're gonna miss you ADLT..

 Next stop is DUNBOROUGH.. to the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse..

 Si lighthouse yg kontot. hahahah.. Aku pon pelik apsal la ramai orang kat tempat nih.. Takyah la pegi.. Takde ape pon.. except the beautiful view..

 then we went here.. BUSSELTON.. but i caught this picture on the way to MR hari tuh.. dia kira after BUNBURY la... Tapi nak balik nih baru singgah..

 This is the BUSSELTON train.. so sedih tak dapat naik train.. Dalam AUD8 kot dua hala.

 Leman with the jetty.. It's long.. Dalam 2 kilometer lebih.. Tapi aku jalan tak sampai 200 meter kot.. hahahah.. tak koser akak nyeh.. kalau naik train tu lain la citer kan.. Kang dah pegi sampai hulu 2 kilometer lebih.. nak balik kang 2 kilometer lebih lagik.. Doing the maths itself already tire me out.. hahaha..

 Our expensive lunch that day at The Goose.. Dah duduk tgk menu baru realize nothing much that we can eat there.. and prices are mahal agak melampau.. huhu.. Boleh makan besar kat Victoria Station ok.. huhuh.. Pehtu takde la sedap mana pon..

 Next stop is HARVEY.. This town has quite a lot to offer.. Tapi by the time we arrived.. it's 4 pm.. and the shops and attractions are closed! So sedih.. penat jek detour jauh2 nak datang sini..

 Dapat singgah toilet pon jadik la kan.

 The best driver one can asked for.. hehe.. I love you my Mr Driver..

 Hajat di hati nak panjat menara Oren.. dan berjoget lambak dua tiga round di sebalik pokok2 oren.. Tapi dah tutup plak..

 So tangkap gambar dari dlm kereta jek la! hahahaha..

 The skies and clouds here never fail to amaze me.. Indah nye ciptaan Ilahi.

 And after returning our rental car (goodbye si putih.. you've been very good to us these past few days).. We double back to the city by cab.. and check in at Criterion Hotel, Hat Street.. Surprisingly, the inside of this hotel is even scarier than our backpackers hostel.. hahahhaa..

 Tapi kat sebelah hotel ade restoren Penang something.. Malaysian restoren.. Nampak tak muka bahagia akak makan Cantonese Keuh Tiow nyehs? Heaven i tell you.. hehe..

That end's our 3D2N roadtrip.. We've had plenty of fun along the way..

Margaret River and it's surrounding areas is truly memorable.. I would recommend anyone to experience them.. Tapi kena tido la sana 1 or 2 night.. Sebab agak jauh journey dia.. and tak syok la kalau melawat terkejar2 dari satu tempat ke satu tempat kan..

Like us.. we probably did not manage to cover a lot of places.. but we really took our time enjoying each location.. and what they have to offer.. And Margaret River one of the highlight of my Perth & Western Aussie Honeymoon (my other favorite is Freo)..

Day 7 is nothing much.. Bila rajin nanti dot update ok..

Guess where I am?

Surprisingly here i am kat Kota Kinabalu again..
Kali nih lebih lama daripada last week.

But fret not..
I'm flying Leman in for this long weekend..
No way I'm enjoying this gloomy weather all by myself.. haha..
KK asek ujan kebelakangan nih..

Last week.. on my flight back to KL..
I was stranded at the airport for 5 FREAKING hours..
tapik because its due to bad weather and poor visibility..
Nak marah sapa kan? huhu.. So berdoa jek la..

Semalam pon sama..
Took off at 1120 am..
Right on queue..

Enjoying my flight entertainment system (MAS punye taktik kot. Diorang mcm tau2 jek nak divert sebab tu siap sogok ngan entertainment system).. haha..
Pehtu enjoy makan2.. pegi toilet satu round..
And the announcement was made..

"Tuan2 dan Puan2.. Kita akan mendarat sebentar lagik.. Sila tegakkan kerusi tempat duduk anda, simpankan yada yada tada.."

So I waited..
And I waited..

Bila nak landing nih?

Pehtu announcement lagik..

Bad weather and poor visibility..
So pilot try berlegar2 kat ruang udara..
Mase tuh pon aku dah gayat siyot..
Macam melayang2 jek aku rase..

Tetiba pilot mcm bagi announcement mcm ape tah..
Tak ingat yg la.. yg pasti nye macam scary..

So pilot cakap kitaorg kena diverted to Labuan Airport.. huhuhu..
Labuan setitik ujan pon nan ado..

So mase landing kat Labuan tu pon horror gila..
Macam nak terpelanting ado.. huhu..
Come la pilot.. kut ye pon nak fuel saving agak2 la sikit kan..
Aku naik Air Asia diorang landing sikit punye smooth tau.. huhu..

Lepas landing tuh.. ade la agak2 dalam 1.5 jam tersadai dalam plane tu ok..
Seb baik diorang on entertainment system..
Tapi aku nagntuk so aku bantai tido..
Walaupon kepanasan sebab lepas tu dia off aircond.. uhuhu..

Lepas tu baru fly balik ke KK..
So patut sampai kol 200 ptg.. Tapik kol 430 baru aku selamat landing kat KK.. huhuhhu..
Penat jek pakai baju kerja..
By the time amik bag semua office hour pon dah abes..
Kalau aku tau aku bantai pakai jeans jek tadik tau.. huhu..

Yg best tu.. boss aku tertinggal flight pagi tadik..
After landing.. aku call la tanye dia kat mana..
Boss aku pon dah selamat check in kat hotel ok!

Aiyooo.. ini ngak fair.. huhuh..
Dia naik flight lagik lambat tapik sampai lagik awal..
Itu la takdir namanye.. sob sob..

To make matter worse..
Aku mcm tak sedap badan..
Rase nak demam..
Pehtu on duty travel plak tu keja melambak2..
Such bad timing..
Kalau kat umah dah lama aku mintak mc jek.. huhuh..

Okla..
Since this is a duty travel.. The only time i got to enjoy was during shopping at Pasar Filipino last week.. hahaha.. Penuh bag sampai maximize 25 kilo luggage allocation...

This week macam nak pegi Kundasang..
Tapi weather mcm tak berapa user friendly.. so let's see how..
I've got no problem staying in and cuddling with Leman 3 hari 2 malam.. hahahha.. (nah plastic muntah sorang satu)..

Sape pernah pegi Kota Kinabalu?
Ape lagik aku bole buat kalau tak sempat pegi Kundasang eh?
Ideas please..

Perth Day 5: South West Adventure

It's day 5 already..

How time flies when we're on holiday kan..

Today we plan to explore the Margaret River (MR) Region..

We dedided to drive all the way down south west to AUGUSTA.. (about 40 minutes from MR Town)

 This is what we have in mind.. hehehe..

Road there is so sunyi di pagi hari.. However, the weather could not have been more perfect!
Serius jalan tu jauh masuk ke dalam sampai Mr Celltech pon tak jumpa.. huhu..

 But I have to say it's worth the journey..

 Singgah tangkap gambar ngan lembu dulu..

 Kata nye lagik honeymoon kan.. harus la hanya banyak gambar aku, or gambar Leman, or gambar kitaorg 2 orang tangkap sendirik.. ahahhaha..

 The lighthouse is soo pwetty.. Aku tgk dari jauh jek.. tak koser nak memanjat naik (you can if you want.. Ade guided tour every hour.. tapi kena bayar la..)

Untuk masuk compound nih pon kitaorg kena bayar AUD5 sorang..

 Cantik kan gambar nih.. Pandai bini dia tangkap.. hehe.. Mr Husband, if you're reading this, I'm still waiting for that DSLR ye..

 The view is precious.. Cuaca sejuk and angin banyak.. Memang sgt rase macam dekat oversea.. haha..

Setelah puas berjalan jalan tangkap gambar dan menikmati pemandangan.. We even catched a glimpsed Whale (rasenye betullah.. tapi jauh.. nampak ekor dia jek.. hehehe).. Cape Leeuwin nih mmg tempat ikan paus lalu lalang between Oct - Dec every year..

 Our next stop is at Colourpatch!

Tak sia sia bini buat research berbulan bulan.. Colourpatch nih kalau tak saja cari dan tuju, memang tak nampak la.. sebab dia bukan dekat jalan besar..

 I'm happy to see that my husband enjoyed this very2 much.. He said that this is the best fish and chips ever (trust him.. sebab dia mmg peminat fish and chips nih).. and i have to agree la this time sebab mmg sedap.. We has seafood platter.. yummilicious sangat! makan mengadap laut.. Tapi dia for take away only.. So mmg hodoh la restarant dia..

Bila perut suda kenyang.. kami meneruskan perjalan climbing back up towards MR..

Next stop is at HAMELIN BAY..

Aku tgk blog orang.. Nak singgah Hamelin Bay nih sebab nak tgk ikan pari.. Banyak gile berenang renang tepi2 pantai tuh..

 Kitaorang salah parking.. so jauhhh gile menapak atas pasir.. huhuhu..

 White sandy beach strecth out as far as my eyes can see.. simply breathtaking..

 Cantik kan?

Banyak gak mat and minah salleh berjemur2 and mandi manda.. Tapi aku takde la teringin nak basah2 nanti leceh nak tukar2 baju plak.. lagipon nih musim sejuk youols.. Mandi pagi kat umah pon pakai heater tau.. haha..

 Tapi mmg sgt cantik la pantai dia..

Lepas puas tgk pantai, kitaorg teruskan perjalanan lagik..

 Kali nih mmg kitaorg masuk tourist scenic drive (bukan jalan besar tapik still berturap la kan..).. so lalu celah2 pokok2 karri yg tinggi2.. I love the view sebab tak dpt view nih kat Kota Damansara.. hehe.

 Next stop.. LAKE CAVE

hahahahha.. kelakar kalau di ingatkan.. Ade 4 caves yg famous kat area MR nih.. Mammoth cave, Lake cave and Jewel cave.. Tapi ikut route.. Lake cave nih la yg paling on the way kan..

Ehem.. and aku baca kat internet.. Lake Cave nih la yg paling senang nak visit..

So beriya masuk dlm2 jalan hutan nak tuju tempat nih..

Tapi bila sampai, and tgk bayaran masuk AUD22 sorang.. and yg paling gerun ialah ade signboard "Some level of fitness is required to visit Lake Cave. More than 300 stairs to climb"

Kepala hotal la review dlm internet tu kata senang! hahahaha.. So kitaorg dok bertolak tolak dua org.. Kejap nak kejap tanak..

Husband: "Abang ikut sayang.. Sayang nak Abang ok jek"

Wife: "Alaa.. jgn la camtuh.. Sayang ikut Abang!"

Husband: "Sayang decide lah"

Wife: "Oklah.. Jom!"

Husband: "Betul ke nih Sayang?"

Hahahahaha.. aci tak laki aku tuh? Aku rase dia tak sangka aku nak cakap Yes.. Sebab dia tau bini dia mmg pemalas nak panjat2 tangga nih kan.. Nih kan plak nak masuk 60 meter below ground menjejak gua..

Tapi aku rase cam rugi plak tak pegi sebab dah sampai.. Entah bila la nak datang lagik.. Entah2 by the time datang balik dah sakit lutut ke ape ke kan.. hehehe.. Lagipon aku tgk rilek jek makcik2 and pakcik2 tua tuh beli tiket..

So confident jek la aku ajak Leman gi beli tiket.. Lake Cave nih kecik gila jek sebenar nye.. Cuma ko kena turun turun dan turun tangga untuk sampai ke pintu gua sebab dia 60 meter below ground kan..

Turun tuh pon dah separa semput..

So bila dah abes2 guided tour dalam gua tu.. Tgk la segala stalagtite Staligmite semua kan..

Bila tiba mase unuk panjat naik atas balik.. Separuh mampos!!!!!

Hahahahahaha..

 But the view inside the cave is sumpah cantik.. (This is the first time aku pegi melawat gua (probably the last time jugak ok.. hehe).. Aku nih gua tempurung pon tak pernah teringin nak pegi.. Alih2 sampai Western Australia sebuk plak nak masuk gua kan.. hehe.. Dalam gua tu cantik.. sebab diorang ade lighting.. So mcm bercahaya2 jek everytime lampu tu kena stalagtite and stalagmite kan.. I highly recommend you experience this.. (aku nih paling takde stamina punye orang.. and since i survived.. you can too)..

 Ni kira luas la tangga nih.. Kat dlm gua tu tangga sempit2 muat2 sorang lalu jek ok.. And kena jaga kepala takut terantuk kat gua... hahaha..

Serius rase macam Thaipusam plak hari nih (Deepavali day).. Rase nak nangis nak menyampaikan ke atas okeh.. tapi takkan aku nak tinggal kat bawah tuh kan.. so nak tanak larat tak larat kena la gagah kan jugak kaki panjat tangga.. Gigil gigil kaki i ok youols.. huhhuhu..

Lepas dah selamat sampai atas.. Sambil sebut "air.. air..." hahahahha.. and setelah make sure jantung tak pecah walaupon ade rase macam jantung nak terkeluar punya la laju nye.. hehe..

Our next destination is to visit a vineyard..

Now, we don't drink.. But i always feel like vineyard is a very romantic place.. and mmg tak pernah melawat.. So we chosed one to visit..

MR nih mmg area wineries.. Berlambak2 wineries and vineyard.. Tapi pakcik sewa kereta tu recommend THE VOYAGER to us.. Dia kata walaupon tak minum patut pegi melawat..

 Deretan pokok anggur.. Tapi nih musim spring so takde la buah kan.. I imagine mcm tinggi2 pokok anggur nih.. Tapi the ones here rendang2 jek.. Tapi sooooo prettyyyyy.. Cantik jek tersusun rapi..

 And most vineyard yg best2 ade rose garden.. So mat salleh nih semua parking kereta terus gi masuk wineries for wine tasting la ape la kan..

Kitaorg laki bini jek yg terkinja kinja pusing2 garden dia... hehehe..

 Luas sgt area dia.. And since mase nih tengahari.. So ade matahari.. Tapi cuaca sejuk.. awesome..

 And nih garden/ jalan nak masuk dia..

Lepas puas terkinja kinja kat kebun orang.. Kitaorg pon meneruskan perjalanan ke sini..

 Bukan! Our next stop is something i'm an expert in.. SHOPPING! hehehe..

 MR nih byk boutique shops jual macam2 la.. and setiap kedai2 nih akan sediakan sample.. Ko boleh makan sampai sedawa 3 kali kat situ kalau ko mahu.. hahaha..

One word: Heavenly

So aku highly recommended untuk pegi.. Banyak sgt chocolates dalam tuh.. I bought a few boxes myself..

Masalahnye satu jek.. Sebab exchange rates mahal sangat takleh nak shopping suka hati tak convert.. huhuhu.. Sekotak kecik chocolate dalam AUD5.. Aku beli beberapa untuk makan sendirik and buat souvenirs.. hehehe.. Beli chocolates jek dah abes beratus.. huhu..

 Next stop: MARGARET RIVER DAIRY CO.

 Kat sini aku pegi rase sample2 cheese.. And this is what i bought.. Cheddar Cheese and Biskut Carr's .. Dah habis dah kitaorg makan.. Serius sedap..

Lepas tu ade la singgah MR Cereals and Nut Factory plak.. beli kacang Brazil (my faveret) and Almonds.. Tapi mahal macam kat Malaysia jek..

Lepas tuh hari pon dah nak malam.. So mase untuk balik berehat..

 We had an early dinner at the hotel's restaurant.. Sebab aku baca review kat Tripadvisor kata firewood pizza kat sini sedap..

True enough.. memang sedap gile our prawn pizza.. :)

That, or aku lapa lepas panjat 300 anak tangga tadik.. hehehe..

 Lepas makan pizza, walaupon dah kenyang kebuntat.. tetap pegi tapau meat box kot2 lapa tgh malam karang sebab dinner awal sangat.. hahahaha..

Harus la tak.. Mana ade ruang dah nak makan kalau dah ko belasah separuh pizza kan dot..  Tapi tak membazir.. meat box nih kitaorg buat breakfast esok pagi nye.. hehehe..

That sums up our day today.. A very very fulfilling and fun outing.. Tengok lighthouse.. ikan paus.. laut.. pasir.. pokok.. gua.. wineries.. bunga.. shopping.. hahahha.. complete semua..

Tapi malam tuh we had a scare..

Pagi tu dot mmg dah rase perut mcm tak sedap.. Tapi belasah jugak pegi gua kan..

Terjaga malam tuh pukul 1 pagi cam tuh sebab nak pegi toilet.. Perut sangat gile macam nak tertanggal pusat.. huhuhu.. dah la sakit belah kanan.. Nak berjalan dari bilik air ke katil pon dah macam tak leh..

Leman pon dah risau.. Aku sebenar nye lagik risau sebab sakit tuh belah area belah kanan.. takut appendix ke kan.. tgh2 kampung nih mana aku tau nak carik sepital kat mana kan.. huhuhu.. Kalau kat PErth city tuh boleh la di gagah kan jugak..

So sebab aku tak sure nak buat mcm mana.. aku ajak jek Leman sambung tido.. Esok pagi jek la kita pikir.. hahahah.. Tapi dalam pada tuh berdoa la jgn la jadik apepe plak malam tuh kan.. huhuh..

Alhamdulillah I felt better the next day.. Walaupon still sakit.. tapi takde la sakit sampai takleh jalan.. Ini mesti gara2 panjat tangga tadik kan.. hehehe..

That incident made me more aware of my surroundings.. Next time pegi holiday, mesti nak kena amik tau jugak mana clinic or hospital terdekat.. Tapi sepanjang kat aussie tuh.. satu klinik pon tak nampak bayang.. huhuhu..sepital ade la kan..

It made me appreciate my home country more.. Kat sini semua senang.. Klinik bersepah sepah kot.. Hospital pon berlambak..
